 4 - 6 hour Babies and Children Course

This course is designed for anyone with an interest in learning the basics of looking after Babies and Children who may become ill or injured . Learn the skills needed, to help you cope if the worst happens.

A typical course content will include:

 

  •   Primary Survey

 

  •  Unconscious Baby or Child

 

  •  Recovery Position

 

  •  CPR for Baby and Child

 

  •  Choking

 

 

 

                                                

 

  •  Infantile Convulsions

 

  •  Asthma

 

  •  Control of bleeding

 

  •  Burns and Scalds

 

  • Croup

 

The above content can be varied to suit class requirements:

Add on's can include: Diabetes-Meningitis-Bee Stings-Anaphylactic Shock-Sickle cell-Sprains and strains-Fractures-Poisoning ETC.

Courses can be completed in 1 day or over various weeks at 1 -2 hours per session. We are very flexible and will try to meet your requirements.
